Clusters

Clusters

If the church was a ship what would it be?
Morden Baptist Church is a lifeboat centre that trains, releases and supports lifeboat crews to rescue the lost. These lifeboat crews are called Clusters, whose aim is always to share the Father’s love with a specific group of people or in a particular context. On a typical Sunday many if us won’t be in our church building, but will be out in the community, doing and being church in creative ways to share God’s love.

Get involved:

Join a Cluster
Use your time, skills, passion and gifts in a Cluster. Find out which Cluster would best suit you and get stuck in.

Start a Cluster
If you have an idea about how to meet needs and ‘do church’ creatively in the community, then let us help you form a new Cluster.

Pray for a Cluster
Prayer is vital for Clusters to grow. Use your time to pray regularly for a particular Cluster and all the people involved in it.

Resource the Lifeboat Centre
Consider resourcing the Lifeboat Centre by using your gifts and expertise to support the work that continues on Sunday mornings, or in resourcing and equipping Clusters.

Whoever you are, there is an opportunity to get involved.
