One Response to “Living the Jesus Way - Living with the Enemy”
great talk on living with the enemy, just listened to it at work and indeed it has helped me deal with a work situation whereby i was unjustly wronged just today!
Good to hear the different perspectives on when to use violence and non violence. I like the one about defending the vulnerable person by using force. I have never been able to justify that one in debate.
I think the slap on both sides of the face still strongly relates to standing up to an oppressor as the person who is slapped twice shames the aggressor only by the aggressors own wrong, not by any unnecessary lack of generosity.
Non violence in practice requires a level of defiance
