MBC is a Fairtrade Church, serving only Fairtrade Tea and Coffee to all members, visitors and community groups using the facilities.

The Fairtrade Merton Steering Group exists to promote Fairtrade within the borough of Merton and to challenge consumers purchasing decisions. As part of Morden Baptist Church’s interest in engaging with local community projects, we helped found and are represented on this steering group, and have been highly involved in promoting the use and sale of Fairtrade products in local schools, churches, businesses and community groups within the borough.
