Healing

The last 2 months at MBC have been really encouraging as we’ve seen God touch, heal and bless people at a level we’ve not experienced before.

We’re learning that giving thanks and sharing the testimony of what God is doing and has done is a vital factor in the process; it honours God; it builds faith in other people and is often linked to the healing itself.

We would suggest you email us with any testimonies of healing, whether it’s personal or praying for someone else!  We have set up a new email address: testimony@faithinmorden.com for you to send us your testimonies so we can track what God is doing and include them here on the website!

Two months ago i was at a conference in Harrogate on healing. I was keen to learn and see how things were done. When various ‘words of knowledge’ (specifics conditions people felt that God was saying he wanted to heal) were shared, one was ‘weak ankles’. It took a whole minute for it to register that it was relevant to me. For over 25 years i have had weak ankles and frequently twist them, and suddenly fall over, often from standing still. This has resulted in 2 broken ankles and for 10 years i have been wearing orthotic inserts in my shoes every day to try to increase my stability.
A guy from Germany in the seat behind me offered to pray for me, and layed his hands on my ankles. He was simply another Christian delegate and not a famous speaker or special person. As he prayed, i felt a cold sensation, and something akin to ‘iron’, wrap around my ankles. He prayed for healing, strength and stability. I decided to test my ankles out by removing the orthotics and walking around normally.

Two months on i have not fallen over or twisted either ankle even once. They feel strong, and in no danger of collapsing. I would have expected to have turned them a few times in that time period, but nothing.
I love sport, including distance running and tennis, and have greater confidence now (they still smell though!). Thank you God for healing my instability and making my ankles strong again. I so didn’t expect it, but then again, why not? Awesome. Glory to God.
Below are a couple of encouraging video clips, one from a conference the staff were on in Harrogate recently.
